Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the iUNI Ltd website (iuni.ai), our VR/AR products, and our services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

iUNI Ltd (trading as iUNI - Immersive University) is a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Unit 8, Lyon Road, Milton Keynes, MK1 1EX, United Kingdom.

2. Pre-Launch Status

iUNI (Immersive University) is currently in pre-launch phase. The official launch is scheduled for June 2026. During the pre-launch period:

  • Products and services described on this website may not yet be fully available
  • Pricing is indicative and subject to change at launch
  • Course content and features may evolve before the official launch
  • Early access registrations are non-binding expressions of interest

3. Services and Products

iUNI Ltd provides VR and AR education and development services including but not limited to:

  • VR-delivered university courses and certifications
  • VR training simulations and safety modules
  • AR business solutions and maintenance tools
  • Digital twin development
  • 3D asset creation and virtual showrooms
  • VR/AR strategy consulting

All custom development services are provided subject to a separate project agreement or statement of work.

4. VR Course and Product Access

  • Course access is granted upon successful payment and is subject to the specific course terms
  • Demo access is for evaluation purposes only and does not constitute a production licence
  • Course content and VR environments remain the intellectual property of iUNI Ltd
  • You may not distribute, modify, reverse-engineer, or record VR content without written permission
  • Access may be time-limited depending on the subscription or licence type
  • Certifications are issued upon successful completion of assessments and are verifiable via QR code

5. Intellectual Property

For custom project work, intellectual property ownership is determined by the project agreement. General terms:

  • Custom-built applications created for your project are assigned to you upon full payment
  • Underlying tools, frameworks, libraries, and reusable components remain iUNI Ltd property
  • Pre-existing products (Virtual University, Safety Modules, etc.) are licensed, not sold
  • All website content, branding, course materials, and VR environments are iUNI Ltd property
  • The iUNI name, logo, and "Immersive University" are trademarks of iUNI Ltd

6. Payment Terms

  • Course fees are payable in advance via Stripe
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • Custom project payments follow milestone-based schedules (typically kickoff, mid-development, delivery)
  • Invoices for enterprise clients are payable within 30 days unless otherwise agreed
  • All prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise
  • Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998

7. Refund Policy

  • Course purchases: 14-day cooling-off period for consumers (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), provided the course has not been substantially accessed
  • Subscriptions: May be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Custom projects: Refunds are governed by the individual project agreement
  • VR demo access: Non-refundable

8. Health and Safety - VR Usage

Users of VR products and courses should be aware:

  • VR headsets may cause motion sickness, eye strain, or disorientation in some users
  • Take regular breaks (recommended every 30 minutes)
  • Ensure adequate physical space when using VR
  • VR is not recommended for users with epilepsy, seizure disorders, or certain visual conditions without medical advice
  • Users under 13 should not use VR headsets (per manufacturer guidelines)
  • iUNI Ltd is not liable for any health effects arising from VR headset use

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, iUNI Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, products, or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our privacy practices.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
